Music Lover account guide

Find the live music you love

Follow these steps to create your account, confirm your hometown, choose music preferences, and receive personalized show recommendations.

    Choose a Music Lover account

    Open Create Account and select Music Lover as the account type.

    • ✓Enter your name
    • ✓Enter your email address
    • ✓Add a phone number if you want text alerts
    • ✓Create and confirm a password
    • ✓Agree to the Terms of Use

    Confirm your email

    Live-List sends a confirmation message before collecting your music preferences.

    • ✓Open the email from Live-List
    • ✓Select the confirmation link
    • ✓Check spam or junk if it does not arrive
    • ✓The link opens the next registration step

    Set your home area

    Your ZIP code is used to offer the correct hometown and find nearby shows.

    • ✓Enter your ZIP code
    • ✓Select your hometown from the matching location
    • ✓Confirm the city and state
    • ✓Choose how far you would travel for a show

    Choose your music preferences

    Tell Live-List what you enjoy so recommendations are more useful.

    • ✓Select one or more music styles
    • ✓Add another style if it is not listed
    • ✓Choose the shows you want prioritized
    • ✓Add favorite bands and venues if you wish

    Choose your alerts

    Control how Live-List lets you know about matching shows.

    • ✓Turn matching-show emails on or off
    • ✓Text alerts are optional
    • ✓A phone number and text-message consent are required for texts
    • ✓You can update preferences later

    Use your Music Lover dashboard

    After registration, your dashboard becomes your personalized live music home page.

    • ✓See recommended and upcoming shows
    • ✓Browse bands and venues
    • ✓Open show details from recommendation cards
    • ✓Review favorites and profile completion
    • ✓Edit your account and preferences

Your preferences stay editable

There is no approval wait for a Music Lover profile. After setup, you go directly to the dashboard. Use Edit Account whenever your hometown, favorites, travel distance, or notification choices change.
